Intellectual Property

We have an exclusive license to a patent portfolio created by the original developers of our alphavirus vector technology, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases (USAMRIID). In addition, we are aggressively pursuing further patent protection as we discover new improvements to develop and implement the technology's full potential.

Our alphavaccine technology is the subject of 21 issued U.S. patents and foreign counterparts. In addition, ten application families are pending and there is an active pipeline of ongoing improvements.
